EU Digital and Media Acquis Harmonisation and Digital Transformation Skills Development in North Macedonia
This assignment aims to align national legislation with the EU acquis (Chapter 10 – Digital transformation and media), support media reforms, and strengthen the capacities of institutions for steering the country’s digital transition. We are assembling a skilled team of professionals and are currently looking for qualified experts in the following areas:
Media Law Expert
To lead the transposition and harmonisation of national legislation with the EU acquis (including the Digital Services Act, Digital Markets Act, Media Freedom Act), and to ensure a pluralistic, independent and sustainable media environment.
ICT Expert
To provide technical expertise on interoperability, digital content and services, eIDAS, AI Act, and digital public sector transformation, including drafting legislation, regulatory impact assessments, and capacity-building tools.
Economic Analyst
To assess the economic impact of harmonisation measures, analyse competitiveness of digital and media markets, and support the development of strategic documents and action plans.
Cybersecurity Expert
To support the transposition of the Cybersecurity Act and Cyber Resilience Act, strengthen national CERT/CSIRT capacities, and build resilience against digital threats.
Data Expert
To lead work on the Free Flow of Data Regulation, Data Governance Act, and open data initiatives, ensuring robust frameworks for data management, analytics, and re-use of public sector information.
Language skills: All experts must be fluent in English.
